Proposed new Center Parcs

A vacancy for a conservation ranger is up for grabs to “help shape the natural environment” around Scotland’s first Center Parcs holiday village in the Borders.
The £450 million project between Hawick and Selkirk secured planning permission and broke ground on initial construction in early 2026.
The resort is scheduled to open in summer 2029.
Ahead of the opening, Center Parcs is looking for a Senior Conservation Ranger to join this summer to “help shape the natural environment from the very beginning”.
A Center Parcs spokesperson stated: “This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in both the construction and long-term stewardship of a brand-new woodland village – supporting biodiversity, wildlife protection and the creation of a thriving forest landscape.
