Scottish Borders Council is preparing to use a popular agricultural gathering to showcase the vast amount of services it provides.
The council offers over 600 services to its 116,000-plus residents.
Staff will be on hand at the 2025 Border Union Show, on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, at Springwood Park in Kelso to highlight a variety of those services.
Inspire Learning will introduce children to coding in a fun way, the Marriage and Civil Partnership team will explain how you can have a bespoke ceremony in the Borders and guide you through all the legal requirements for your special day.
You can learn about the wide range of work carried out by the Unpaid Work team for not-for-profit organisations, charities, community groups, and social enterprises across the Borders.
The Community and Engagement Team is eager to hear how they can support your local communities; discover walks and cycle routes around the Borders with the Active Travel team, take an e-bike for a test drive or take part in the Ultimate energy Smoothie Experience.
The Fostering Team will be there to dispel myths about who can and cannot foster. You can also discover how having a MyScotBorder account can provide you with a quicker and improved customer experience.
