A new photography exhibition celebrating the natural beauty and history of Dalkeith Country Park and Palace will open to visitors this week.
Entwined, by artist Fiona Young, will go on display from Friday, November 6, showcasing a collection of still life photography inspired by the estate’s landscapes and historic surroundings.
Created in collaboration with curator Charlotte Rostek and Dalkeith Palace and Country Park, the exhibition explores the relationship between nature, place and history.
As the estate’s Artist in Residence, Fiona has brought together carefully arranged photographs featuring foliage foraged from the grounds alongside images captured inside the historic Dalkeith Palace.
The collection aims to offer visitors a fresh perspective on the estate’s natural landscape and architectural heritage.
The exhibition will be displayed across The Coffee Bar and The Kitchen at Restoration Yard, allowing visitors to enjoy the artwork while stopping for refreshments or exploring the estate.
Entwined will run from Friday, November 6, until Sunday, January 10, 2027.
The exhibition is open daily from 9am to 5pm at Restoration Yard, Dalkeith Country Park.
