The Leddie in Aberlady has announced a new partnership with East Lothian charity The Pennypit Community Development Trust helping to support children and families during school holiday periods.
From now until 1 September, families dining at The Leddie can enjoy a two-course children’s meal (up to 12 years old) with a soft drink for a £2 donation to The Pennypit Trust.
Based in Prestonpans, The Pennypit Trust supports more than 1,000 children, young people and families across East Lothian through food provision, holiday programmes and community support initiatives, helping to tackle the challenges many families face when schools are closed.
In addition to the children’s dining initiative, The Leddie will also support the charity’s flagship fundraising event on 7th November by donating prizes to help raise vital funds as well as team challenges throughout the year.
Robert Clark, General Manager of The Leddie, said: “As a community-focused business, we are delighted to partner with The Pennypit Trust and support the incredible work they do across East Lothian. School holidays can be particularly challenging for some families, and we hope this initiative will not only raise valuable funds but also encourage our guests to learn more about the charity and the impact it makes.”
