On Sunday, Edinburgh was in full celebration as the capital’s 10th annual Diwali took over the city.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the day-long celebration consisted of street performances, a parade, popular musicians and finally ending with a firework display.
From a humble beginning in 2015, Diwali has grown into one of Edinburgh’s most cherished community-led celebrations thanks to the President of Edinburgh Diwali, Rajinish Singh, and his committee members’ efforts, with this milestone anniversary marking a significant moment in their dedication.
Midlothian View Reporter Liam Eunson joined the celebrations as Diwali 2025 took over Edinburghs streets, speaking to Rajinish Singh and immersing himself in the day-long celebration.
