One Dalkeith is a Community Development Trust, formed and owned by local residents, with the aim of enhancing community facilities in the town centre.
Based at 21 Eskdaill Court, Dalkeith, it operates as a community and business hub offering space for events, activities, and room hire for small enterprises, including social enterprises.
One Dalkeith is planning a significant upgrade of this space and is exploring securing ownership of the building on behalf of the people of Dalkeith to better meet local needs.
Community ownership would give local people greater control and make it easier to attract investment for future improvements.
