ScotRail is confirming more carriages for services on key routes in and out of Edinburgh for country music fans travelling to see Zach Bryan at Scottish Gas Murrayfield this weekend.
The American singer-songwriter will bring his With Heaven On Tour to the home of Scottish Rugby on Sunday, 14 June.
To support customers travelling to and from the gig, ScotRail is adding more carriages to services throughout the day on routes in and out of Edinburgh, including Aberdeen, Dundee, the Borders, and Fife.
Customers travelling to Scottish Gas Murrayfield are advised to use Haymarket station, which is a short walk or tram ride from the stadium.
Customers are required to have their tickets for travel before boarding. Tickets are available in advance through the ScotRail app, website, ticket offices, or self-service ticket machines.
After the concert, fans heading back to Haymarket should make their way to the station as soon as they can, where queuing systems will be in place to help customers board trains as safely as possible.
ScotRail will have additional staff on hand throughout the day to provide information and assistance, helping customers enjoy a smooth journey. People should join the queue on Haymarket Terrace where they’ll be directed to the correct platform for their train home.

“We’re adding more carriages to trains on key routes in and out of the capital throughout the day to help people travel to and from the event.
“Customers are asked to plan ahead, ensure they have their train tickets before they get on the train, and allow more time for their journey.”
“Haymarket is the closest station to Murrayfield and it’s a short walk or tram ride from the stadium. Queuing systems will be in place after the concert to help everyone get home safely.”
