1- Scottish Furniture Makers Exhibition
At Dalkeith Palace from the 13th to the 15th of June, The Scottish Furniture Makers Association are bringing a temporary exhibition, showcasing a range of work from over 20 furniture makers. This free entry exhibition running from 10 am to 4 pm, features bespoke furniture, sculptures and objects from top furniture makers in Scotland.

2- Loanhead Gala Day
The Loanhead Gala Day takes place on Saturday the 28th of June in Memorial Park. Beginning at 1.30 pm, it is predicted to be Midlothian’s largest free show, being a day full of activities. Featuring activities, such as, live music, shows, crazy golf, vehicle display, a funfair, and many more, it is a fun packed day out for all the family.

3 – Newtongrange Gala Day
The Newtongrange Gala Day takes place on the 14th of June. The event takes place throughout the day across Newtongrange consisting of a parade and the Gala. The Gala is full of activities for all the family, similar to Loanhead’s Gala Day and the parade takes place before, leading to the Gala.
4 – East Lothian Council Summer Arts Market at the Haddington Corn Exchange
On the 28th of June, the East Lothian Council Arts Service is hosting a Summer Arts Market at Corn Exchange, Haddington. Featuring art from many artists and crazy makers who live in the area, providing a local platform to showcase local work. With over 30 stalls on display, the artists will be selling and previewing unique art work. Entry is completely free and will run from 11 am to 4 pm.

5 – Haddington Farmers Market
On the 28th of June, the monthly Haddington Farmers Market is back previewing local produce from Midlothian.The market offers a wide range of locally produced food, drinks, arts and crafts. Being free to enter and running from 9 am to 1 pm, the market is held on the last Saturday of each month.
