Mayfield based aesthetics practitioner and educator Tina Duff, owner of Flawless Aesthetics by Tina, has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2026 UK Hair and Beauty Awards.
Tina has been shortlisted for both:
– Skin Specialist of the Year
– Education Excellence Award
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards are one of the largest events in the industry calendar and will take place this August at Manchester’s AO Arena.
Unlike many industry awards, the HBA Awards are merit based, recognising professionals for standards, skill, client care, education, and contribution to the industry rather than social media following or sponsorship.
Tina, who runs her business from a private home clinic and academy in Mayfield, Midlothian, has spent the last three years building both her clinic and skin training academy while continuing her own advanced education within aesthetics.
Alongside treating clients, Tina also trains beginners looking to enter the skin industry safely and professionally, with a strong focus on client care, realistic expectations, and raising standards within aesthetics education.
Speaking about becoming a finalist, Tina said:
“To be recognised nationally means a huge amount to me, especially because these awards are merit based. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my business and continue developing my education and standards within the industry.
“What started as a passion for helping people feel more confident has grown into both a successful clinic and training academy, and I’m proud to now be representing Midlothian on a national stage.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 15th August 2026 at Manchester’s AO Arena, with more than 3,000 professionals from across the UK expected to attend.
