North Middleton Village Community Hall is set to host its annual summer fete this weekend, with families invited to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, food and activities.
The event will take place at North Middleton Village Community Hall on Sunday, August 23, from 1pm to 5pm.
The fete will be officially opened by the Borthwick & District Pipe Band, with a packed programme planned throughout the afternoon.
Families can enjoy games and inflatables, while local craft stalls will offer a range of handmade goods. Active Travel will also be on hand to carry out bike checks, while visitors will have the chance to meet miniature donkeys from Roman Camp.
Entertainment will include a line dancing demonstration from the A7 Stompers, while four-legged visitors can take part in a best dressed dog competition. Face painting will also be available for younger attendees.
There will be plenty of food and refreshments on offer, including burgers, hot dogs and ice cream, alongside a licensed bar.
Visitors will also be able to enter the raffle and tombola or pick up treats from the home baking stall.
The event is being organised by the volunteer-run North Middleton Village Community Hall, with all money raised going towards supporting the hall and the wider local community.
The committee said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Annual Summer Fete.
“We’ve put together a fantastic afternoon with something for all ages, from family games and inflatables to live entertainment, local stalls, great food and not forgetting a best dressed dog competition and miniature donkeys!
“It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together, have some fun and enjoy a traditional village fete.
“As a volunteer-run charity, every penny we raise goes straight back into supporting the hall and the local community, so we really appreciate everyone who comes along and supports us.”
The Annual Summer Fete takes place at North Middleton Village Community Hall on Sunday, August 23, from 1pm to 5pm.
