West Pilton Post Office that has moved to a new location

Post Office is to re-open West Pilton Post Office at Pennywell Xtra Local, 8 MacMillan Square, West Pilton, Edinburgh, EH4 4AB. on Monday 21 September at 1pm.
This will restore service to the community after the previous branch at 1-3 Pennywell Court, Edinburgh, EH4 4TZ, closed in June 2024.
The Post Office explained that they are keen to restore service to this community as soon as possible, so we have decided to go ahead with our plans. The opening hours are Monday – Saturday: 8am – 8pm; Sunday; 8am – 4pm. This provides 80 hours of service per week for the convenience of customers.
The new branch is approximately 40metres away from the previous branch. Roadside parking is available nearby.
Ian Duncan, Post Office Retail Lead, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted that we have restored Post Office services to this area. The branch is now open daily and is open much longer hours than before for the convenience of customers.”
